Support / Which alarm do I have?
If DEFA is printed on the remote control. This has two buttons. You use the button with the raised dot to turn the alarm ON, and the button with the hollow to turn the alarm OFF.
You either have a:
DEFA 800 *

If DEFA is
NOT printed on the remote control. The alarm turns itself ON and OFF when you use the car's original remote control to lock/unlock the car.

If DEFA is printed on the remote control, and it is black with 1 button, gold or silver area around the button.
Then you have a:
DEFA SPECTRA 3000

Which alarm type do I have?
Where to find out what alarm you have:
The mounting documentation approval was completed by the installation engineer on installation.
The emergency code card / PIN code card (does not apply to Spectra)
The rear of the alarm central unit. The unit is usually place between the pedals and the speedometer housing in the car.
Remote control. We have listed a number of properties of our remote controls, so that it is easier for you to find out which remote control you have, and from that, which alarm is installed in your car.
